OG means it is an original from 1997,
back when ZoomAir was introduced.
It was inspired by a spiked track runner.
Apart from its vibrant volt upper,
the shoes’ defining part is the translucent outsole
where the ZoomAir pad can be seen through.
It is none of the 10 best Nike classics of all time
but it is a comfortable classic with heritage.
Buying advice:
It is a shoe for lovers. Meaning if you like the shoe,
you propably get the retro which is cheaper and easier to wear,
so the only people getting it will be fans of the original.
Get it if you want a wearable piece of Nike’s history.
Don’t get it if the volt is too loud for you.
